Simple Raw Ketchup

Use this delicious, healthy condiment on burgers or wherever you use store-bought ketchup. It is delightful and so simple to make.

Serves: 2 cups
Ingredients
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped fresh tomatoes
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 6 dates
  • 2 Tbs maple syrup
  • 1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp tamari soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped sweet onion
  • ¼ cup olive oil
Instructions
  1. Purée all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. This will keep covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Makes approximately 2 cups.
