Here are eight reasons why you need to try this protein powder:
- It tastes great! I have tried a lot of protein powders and this one by far is the best tasting. My clients love, love, love it!
- It is highly soluble and mixes well in smoothies. It doesn’t have the usual chalky taste that a lot of the other protein powders do.
- The flavour is very mild and I find that you don’t get sick of it like you do with some of the others.
- It has a very mild sweetness and is not sweetened with stevia. Boku is sweetened with dehydrated maple syrup, which in addition to adding a very mild sweetness, adds loads of minerals as well. I do like adding stevia to sweeten my smoothies on occasion, but I find that some protein powders with stevia added taste icky and bitter so I prefer to add my own.
- Boku is a triple source protein, made from sprouted from rice protein, dulse red algae, and cranberry protein. A triple source protein has a much better amino acid profile than just from brown rice protein alone.
- Boku is high in important minerals like calcium and iron.
- It is one of the only organic protein powders on the market. Read the labels on the other ones and you will see the difference.
- I find that most people tolerate this protein powder very well. Some of my clients that do not do well with protein powders, really like Boku.
Final Note: As with all things, I feel it is important to mix it up. So I suggest using Boku as your protein powder of choice in your smoothies and rotating it with tahini or another nut butter and hemp seeds to keep it fresh and interesting.
