A simple, natural deodorant that will help you steer clear of dangerous chemicals and estrogen-mimicking ingredients while keeping you fresh and dry all day. This recipe makes quite a bit, simply cut in half if you want less or make it all and share!
6 tablespoons of coconut oil
1/4 cup of baking soda
1/4 cup of arrowroot powder (or cornstarch)
10 to 15 drops of your favorite essential oil (I use Young Living Lavender and Purification)
To begin, simply mix together your baking soda and your arrowroot (or cornstarch) in a medium sized bowl. Next, stir in your coconut oil with a fork and mash it all together until it is very well combined. Top it all off by adding a few drops of your favourite essential oil such as lavender or vanilla. Spoon mixture into a clean, dry glass jar. To use, simply scoop out a bit with your finger and apply lightly to armpits.
